Private Tutoring Services
ABOUT ME
In short, I love teaching. Since 2006, I've tutored hundreds of students in high school and college-level math and science subjects, and I've helped many more prepare for the SAT and ACT. While I find nerdy delight in working through math problems and understanding the natural world through science, my true joy comes from seeing my students grow and achieve their goals. And I've seen a wide and inspiring range of goals in my students over the years. It's important to me to work with each student from where they are, and help them toward their goals in an accessible, individualized, and healthy way.
SOME BRIEF CREDENTIALS
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University in 2004 with a B.S. in Neurobiology; I started tutoring full-time shortly thereafter. I later obtained a second Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union while continuing to tutor part-time, and after a corporate stint working as an engineer in the automotive industry, I happily returned to teaching.
